Gorontalo (ANTARA) - Brigadir dua Norman Kamaru, anggota Satuan Brimob Kepolisian Daerah Gorontalo yang meraih ketenaran lewat aksi lipsing lagu India "chaiyya-chaiyya", saat ini terbaring sakit, di klinik kesahatan Polda Gorontalo, Rabu.

Kepala bidang hubungan masyarakat Polda Gorontalo, Ajun Komisaris Besar Polisi (AKBP) Wilson Damanik, di Gorontalo mengemukakan kondisi kesehatan Briptu Norman saat ini masih lemas, butuh istirahat total karena keletihan selama berada di Jakarta dipadati sejumlah agenda.

"Saat ini Norman harus istirahat total dulu, karena hampir dua pekan di Jakarta, hingga kemarin tiba di Gorontalo disambut warga, cukup membuatnya letih," kata Wilson

Dikatakannya sebelumnya Norman, sempat mengeluhkan kondisi kesehatanya yang mulai menurun. Setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan oleh dokter, ternyata tekanan darahnya drop, berat badan berkurang, dan harus diberikan cairan infus.

"Kondisi kesehatannya masih belum stabil, kami tetap memantau perkembangannya," ujar Wilson.

Sementara itu, terkait konser akbar dalam rangka malam syukuran penyambutan kedatangan Briptu Norman, yang direncanakan digelar malam ini, dikatakannya, belum bisa memberikan garansi bisa menghadirkan Briptu Norman, yang masih sakit.

"Kami tidak bisa paksakan Norman hadir di acara tersebut, jika kondisnya belum pulih total," kata Wilson.

Ia berharap, semua pihak mendoakan Briptu Norman, agar bisa tampil lagi memberikan hiburan bagi masyarakat Gorontalo.

"Kami mohon maaf, jika sebentar malam kondisi Norman belum pulih, kami pun tidak bisa berikan garansi sebelum dia sembuh total," tambahnya.
